Unipal is a student discounts and experiences platform. We connect students with the brands and universities that matter to them. We are based in Bahrain, operate in Saudi Arabia and Oman, and are growing across the region.
About the role
Oman is one of our newest markets, and most students there haven't heard of us yet. Your job is to change that: grow our student base on campus, on social, and through campaigns with our partner brands. You will be our marketing presence on the ground in Oman, working with our central marketing and content team, the Oman partnerships lead, and Accounts Management.
What you will do
Grow app downloads, sign-ups, and active students in Oman against monthly targets
Plan and run campus activations, events, and stands at Oman's universities and colleges
Build and manage a student ambassador programme from scratch
Run co-marketing campaigns with partner brands to drive redemptions
Brief the central Content Creator on local content needs and get content shot on the ground
Manage local social activity and community engagement for the Omani audience
Track campaign results and report what works, what doesn't, and what you'll change
Build relationships with university student clubs, societies, and staff
What you bring
1–4 years in marketing, ideally in growth, community, field, or student marketing
Experience running events, activations, or ambassador programmes
Comfortable with targets and numbers: you know which channel brought in which users
Good knowledge of Oman's universities and student culture
Self-driven: comfortable building from zero in a new market
Confident building relationships with students, universities, and brands
Nice to have
Experience in a startup, consumer app, or brand launch
Experience with performance or social media marketing tools
Fluent Arabic and English
